A Full Moon in Virgo Ritual Bath: A Return to Stillness and Sacred Simplicity

Written from my heart to yours

There are moments in the lunar cycle that call us inward. Not to fix or figure things out — but simply to listen. To soften. To pause.

This Full Moon in Virgo invites us to honour the sacred rhythm of simplicity. To return to the body. To the breath. To the details we often overlook. It’s a time for purification — not in the striving-for-perfection kind of way, but in the gentle homecoming kind of way.

As a woman who walks with others through the cycles of grief, healing, rebirth and transformation, I’ve learned the power of creating simple rituals that bring us back into alignment. Rituals that clear the noise and open the space for your own truth to rise.

This is one of them.

A Virgo Full Moon Ritual Bath

Theme: Stillness. Simplicity. Sacred Devotion.

You’ll need:

  • A handful of Epsom or sea salt

  • A few drops of lavender or rosemary essential oil

  • Dried chamomile or sage

  • A white or cream candle

  • A bowl of clean water and a small stone (quartz or amethyst if you have one)

  • Journal + pen

  • A towel that feels soft and comforting

Begin by creating space

Let the act of preparation be part of the ritual. Virgo teaches us that devotion lives in the small things.

Tidy your space. Wipe down surfaces. Light your candle. Lay out your towel. Dim the lights. Let it feel intentional and quiet.

Place the bowl of water nearby, with the stone resting in it — this will absorb and transmute anything you’re ready to release.

Play the Mantra Narayan (I love this version by Nirinjan)

It relates to the quality of water. As a plant needs water for its flowers to blossom, in the same way chanting Narayan nurtures the Divine Identity within you so that your soul can bloom into its full beauty and grace. Narayan is the quality that restores. It allows life to become fresh, lush and green again

Run your bath and speak this intention aloud:

"I honour the wisdom of my body.I cleanse what is not mine.I soften into the truth that is already within me."

Add the salt and herbs to the water. Let them swirl. Let the aroma rise. Trust the medicine of simplicity.

Enter slowly. This is a temple moment.

Let your body sink into the warmth. Close your eyes. Breathe deeply.

We can all have a tendancy to carry so much that isn’t ours.

This water is your clearing.

You might feel the shift immediately — a sigh, a letting go, a subtle relief.

Repeat this mantra gently, as many times as you need:

"I release the pressure to do. I return to the sacred rhythm of being."

Let the bath hold you in stillness. Feel the subtle reset of your nervous system. Relax into the energy centre of your sacral — the seat of your truth, your knowing, your joy.

When you're ready, reflect:

Take your journal and gently explore these questions:

  • What am I ready to clear from my field?

  • Where am I being called to simplify my life or my inner world?

  • What does sacred devotion look like for me in this season?

Let whatever comes be enough. No need to explain or perfect it.

Closing the ritual

Step out of the bath slowly. Wrap yourself in softness.

Take the bowl of water outside and gently pour it into the earth. Whisper:

"As I release, I make space for my next sacred yes."

Let this be a moment of quiet reverence — a reminder that your path isn’t built through striving, but through responding to what truly moves you.

Final words from my heart

This Full Moon doesn’t ask you to be more. It simply asks you to return — to the groundedness of your body, the clarity of your inner knowing, and the rhythm of your own sacred timing.

If you’re longing to feel held, supported, or seen in your process of clearing, healing or coming home to yourself — know that you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here, walking beside you.

With love and deep stillness,

Sam x
